Arnold Schwarzenegger congratulates son Joseph Baena for graduating: 'I’m so proud of you' - USA TODAY

Arnold Schwarzenegger's son is saying "Hasta la vista, baby" to college with his proud  dad by his side.

The "Terminator" star, 71, sent a congratulatory tweet to Joseph Baena, 21, after his youngest child graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, on Saturday.

"Congratulations Joseph!" Schwarzenegger wrote. "Four years of hard work studying business at Pepperdine and today is your big day! You have earned all of the celebration and I’m so proud of you. I love you!"

The tweet included a picture of a smiling Schwarzenegger embracing an equally beaming Baena, who was dressed in his blue and orange cap and gown.

How 'Avengers: Endgame' changes these 5 upcoming Marvel movies and TV shows - INSIDER

"Guardians of the Galaxy 3" has had a dramatic journey, and it's not even close to being in theaters.

James Gunn, who directed the first two installments, was fired by Disney in July after offensive tweets from years ago resurfaced, resulting in "Guardians 3," which was originally scheduled to be released next year, being postponed.

Then Warner Bros. hired Gunn to write and direct a "Suicide Squad" sequel in October. Last month, Disney rehired Gunn for "Guardians 3," but he'll finish "The Suicide Squad" first, meaning it will be a few years before we see the Guardians return ("The Suicide Squad" comes to theaters in 2021).

After "Endgame," we know a little bit more about what "Guardians 3" could be about, and it's quite unexpected. Thor relinquishes leadership of the Earth-based "New Asgard" to Valkyrie (the original Asgard was destroyed in "Thor: Ragnarok"), and joins up with the Guardians at the end of the movie, implying Thor actor Chris Hemsworth is not only sticking around the MCU, but could even star in "Guardians 3."

He's one of the original Avengers to come out of "Endgame" unscarred, while other veteran franchise actors like Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man) and Chris Evans (Captain America) are phased out.

During this scene, Star-Lord is looking at a screen with Gamora's face on it and the word "searching." Gamora died in "Avengers: Infinity War," but a Gamora from the past is brought into the present due to some time-travel wizardry. There's a good chance "Guardians 3" will be about this search for Gamora.

Prince William To Be King Over Charles? How Queen Elizabeth Is Preparing Kate Middleton - The Cheat Sheet

Prince Charles may be next in line to the throne after Queen Elizabeth II, but rumors have been running wild that Prince William will actually be the next King of England. In the event that Williams gets the throne, Kate Middleton has been slowing preparing for her new role as Queen Kate.

Kate Makes First Solo Appearance With Her Majesty

Last month, Kate had her first solo appearance with Queen Elizabeth. The duo visited King’s College in an event that was designed to prepare Kate for her duties alongside Prince William. The outing was the first of its kind for the pair, but it clearly shows that Queen Elizabeth is taking Kate under her wing.

According to US Weekly, royal experts, such as Rebecca Long, believe that the majority of people in the UK want to see William on the throne over Charles. That does not mean Charles will abdicate his place at the head of the table, but it could prompt the family to move in a new direction.

“William and Kate are the favorite royals to take the crown in many generations, so the people of the U.K. are very excited about it,” Long shared.

Apart from their recent solo outing, Her Majesty has been spending more one-on-one time with the Duchess of Cambridge. Inside sources claim that Elizabeth and Kate often spend time together discussing where the monarchy is headed and the ins and outs of royal life. The lessons are undoubtedly valuable to Kate, despite that she will likely run things differently.

Are William And Kate Already Preparing For A Major Power Move?

It takes a large team to run the royal family’s household, and William and Kate are already putting together a top-notch squad of staffers, many of whom have experience in government. This includes the hiring of a new PR manager in Sarah Latham, who previously worked in the White House during Bill Clinton’s administration.

There’s also the fact that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are moving out of Kensington Palace and setting up shop in Windsor. The move gives them more space for their growing family, but it also makes room for William and Kate’s expanded role.

William recently stepped down from his job as a pilot for an air ambulance crew in order to focus all of his efforts at Kensington Palace. The timing of the move means that William is preparing to become king, just like his father. Even if Charles takes the throne, he will not have the crown for long. With Charles pushing 70 years old, there is a good chance that William will become king within 20 years.

What Are The Chances That William Is Named King Over Charles?

The fact that Queen Elizabeth has already named Charles as her heir means it is unlikely that her oldest son will abdicate. That said, polls show that William and Kate have a lot of support from the people.

According to International Business Times, some 46 percent of the population in the UK would like to see Charles give up the crown. Another 27 percent want Queen Elizabeth to skip Charles altogether and give the reigns to his oldest child.

The only problem with Charles abdicating is that he has been waiting to become king for such a long time. Although Elizabeth is getting up there in age, she is still in great health and will likely remain on the throne for a few more years at the least. If that happens, Charles will have to wait even longer to claim his birth right, which means he is unlikely to give it up without a fight.

William Wants To Inherit The Crown When The Timing Is Right

With his father prepared to take the throne, royal watchers believe that William does not want to sit on the throne before his time. Instead, William would reportedly rather wait until he is older and wiser, just like his father. Given all the pressures of being king, this is probably a good decision.

How Long Before Khloe Kardashian Gets Over Tristan Thompson Completely? - The Cheat Sheet

By now, we are sure that everyone has heard about the Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods cheating scandal. This scandal not only broke up a family but it has also put some serious strain on Kylie and Jordyn’s friendship.

While this is hardly the first time that Tristan has been caught cheating, the fact that he chose to do it with someone that was a close family friend took his ordinary acts of betrayal to a whole new level.

Although Khloe probably wishes that she could go the rest of her life without ever seeing Tristan again, that is probably not going to be possible, given the fact they share a daughter together.

So, how long will it take for Khloe’s heartbreak to healing and will it take longer to get over him because she will have to see him regularly? While there is no way to give an answer to this question with 100 percent accuracy, we can take a look at their current interactions with each other to get a good idea of when Khloe will be able to get over Tristan.

Khloe still feels uncomfortable around Tristan

On April 14, Khloe’s daughter, True, celebrated her first birthday. The 34-year-old Keeping up with the Kardashians star went all out for the special occasion. The venue was decorated with giant pastel-colored balloons, there was a fog machine at the entrance to make the guest feel as if they were clouds, and the cake was decorated with a simple white frosting and colorful butterflies.

All of Khloe’s close friends and family came to True’s birthday party. One person that many were surprised to see had made the guest list was True’s father, Tristan Thompson. Although True and Tristan were able to spend some quality time together at the party, there was still some awkward moments that were witnessed by other partygoers whenever Tristan and Khloe were seen together.

One video that Khloe had uploaded to her Instagram stories showed what looked like Tristan trying to take True out of Khloe’s arms so that he could hold her for a while. Instead of causing a scene and telling Tristan to go away, Khloe can be seen ignoring him and then turning away from him completely, while still holding onto to True, to talk to a little girl about the flavor of the cake.

A source that was at the party told Hollywood Life that Khloe really doesn’t want to be anywhere near Tristan, but she is trying to be civil with him for the sake of their daughter. “There are still so many raw emotions going through Khloe’s mind that if they were at a regular party and True wasn’t there then Khloe would have wanted to get out of there even faster,” the source revealed. “But since it was all for True, it made it a little easier.”

How long before Khloe gets over Tristan completely?

When Khloe loves someone, she loves them with everything she has. This makes it extremely hard for her to get over a breakup. However, if her past relationships are any indication, it looks like she will finally get over Tristan for good once she meets a new man.

One of her longest relationships was with ex-husband Lamar Odom. The two had only dated for about a month before getting married in 2009. However, due to his reckless behavior and substance abuse problems, Khloe had filed for divorce in 2013. Their divorce was not finalized until 2016.

During that three-year period, Khloe had dated two other men: hip-hop artist, French Montana, and basketball star James Harden. Both of those relationships ended before her divorce in 2016. Shortly after she was officially divorced, she met Tristan Thompson. For Khloe, it seems as if finding new love is the only way for her to get over an old love.

Now that she has a daughter to take care of, she will probably take her time finding a new romance. Just by looking at her Instagram stories, we can see that her daughter, family, and close friends are helping her keep her sanity during this difficult time.

Because she has so many wonderful people in her life right now to help lift her spirits and make her feel loved, she may not need to find a new romance in order to get over Tristan.

All the 'Avengers: Endgame' Fan Theories That Were Actually Right - Esquire.com

Editor's Note: This post contains spoilers.

Marvel fans have spent an entire year trying to predict what might happen in Avengers: Endgame. Between the endless rumors, on-set photos, merchandise leaks, and everything else the MCU-obsessed internet dug up during the film's production, many central theories for the epic finale started to emerge. Not all of them came to fruition (no, Ant-Man did not kill Thanos by becoming small and shooting up his ass). But, many of the prominent theories that Mind Stone-wielding fans came up with actually came true in Endgame. In fact, some of the most surprising, risky predictions paid off in a big way.

Here are all the fan theories that actually came true in Endgame. Warning, massive spoilers ahead!!

Professor Hulk

Hell yeah. Say what you will about the MCU, but after films like Guardians and Thor: Ragnarok, Kevin Feige and Co. have not been afraid to go full weird. And in a beige, cookie-cutter blockbuster movie culture, that is really something to respect. One of Endgame's biggest weirdo elements is the new physical state of Bruce Banner. As many fans predicted, The Russo Brothers ended up adopting the "Professor Hulk" storyline for the big Infinity War sequel, wherein Bruce Banner and the Hulk finally put their differences aside and become one. The result? Mark Ruffalo is fucking huge. And green. And weirdly hot? He's got the body of the Hulk with the mind of Bruce Banner. This lasts for pretty much the entire film, making some parts of this moviegoing experience feel almost like a fever dream.

Time travel

Ever since some very revealing set photos leaked early-on in the production of Endgame, fans have been theorizing that time travel is pretty much a given for the new movie. I mean, how else are they going to reverse all the horrible things that Thanos committed? This theory has been the most prominent prediction. And, lo and behold, the fans were right. Endgame is a full-on Time Heist. Wreaking havoc on the past 22 films from the storied MCU, our Avengers are hopping through time and really screwing everything up. The plot holes are pretty tough to navigate, but on the surface, Endgame's quantum mechanics are fun as hell. We even got to see Tilda Swinton!

null
As fans predicted, Captain America is worthy to wield Thor’s hammer.

Marvel

Captain America wielding Thor's hammer

This one is less a prediction and more just something the fans have been begging for ever since the Avengers all met up back in 2012. We've seen Steve Rogers try to pick up the hammer. He nudged it a bit in Age of Ultron. But Endgame finally gives us the real deal. Cap is whooping ass with Mjolnir, bashing Thanos' huge face with it, and even spinning it around to take flight. As Inverse reported back in 2018, fans even asked Joss Whedon about the scene in Ultron when Cap attempted to lift the hammer. Whedon responded, "Did he fail? Or did he stop?" Turns out, the answer may have been the latter.

null
Thanos removes his armor to reveal his large body and get beheaded by Thor.

Marvel

Thanos gets defeated in the first act

As predicted on the r/FanTheories Subreddit, the Big Purple Man does indeed get killed very early on in Endgame. Eagle-eyed watchers of the film's trailers noticed, mostly from the different lengths (and colors) of Black Widow's hair, that there may be some time-jumping afoot in the big finale. They figured that Grimace might get killed within the opening 20 minutes of the film, but that killing him does not reverse the events of Infinity War, thus leaving the universe in pretty bad shape. They were right. Thanos gets his huge head chopped right off within the first act of the film, which only leaves the Avengers with more questions, and less hope. It's a mistake that makes Thor exile himself to drinking beer and playing Fortnite, ultimately resulting in the whole squad giving up on fixing the consequences of the Snap. That is, until our buddy Ant-Man comes along.

Tony Stark dies

Ever since the MCU kicked off way back in 2008, fans have been waiting to see how Tony Stark's narrative arc will come to a close. Over the course of the 22 films since, the topic has come to the surface a few times. He nearly died in the first Avengers, and with Robert Downey Jr.'s contract coming to a close, it seemed inevitable that Iron Man would die in Endgame. And it was. Stark sacrificed himself to gain control of the Infinity Stones and snap his fingers to reverse the course of history, but sealed his fate in the process. Everybody has been saying, it's either going to be Tony or Steve (or both) dying in the war against Thanos, and it turns out, Tony is the one to go. It's only natural that this would be RDJ's last outing as the character, since it's the end of the story he started so many years ago.

image
At the end of Avengers: Endgame, Captain America gives his shield to Falcon, presumably making him the new Captain America.

Marvel

Falcon becomes the new Captain America

In the comics, there is a huge precedent for other heroes picking up the mantle of Captain America. Many have held the shield over the years. In the MCU, it seemed that the two biggest possibilities for a new Cap would be Anthony Mackie's Falcon, or Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes. Fans have theorized ever since Stan held the shield back in the first Captain America movie that the so-called Winter Soldier would become the Star Spangled Man. But there was always the chance that we would have a Falcon Cap, and in the Endgame, it was Sam Wilson who gained control of the red, white, and blue shield.

Pepper Potts suits up

This theory has been floating around for a while, ever since a leaked selfie surfaced showing Gweneth Paltrow wearing an Iron Man suit. Pepper has suited up as "Rescue" in the comics before, and she briefly wore a suit in Iron Man 3 as well. In Endgame, we get Pepper fully armored, going haywire in the big splash-page battle of the film's finale. So the leaked image was real after all.

image
As many fans predicted, Doctor Strange did set in motion the one outcome he saw in which the Avengers beat Thanos.

Marvel

Doctor Strange knew there was only one way to win against Thanos

At the end of Infinity War, Doctor Strange looked at all the possible outcomes of Thanos' attack on The Avengers. He saw millions of possibilities, and said there was only one of them where they came out victorious. Well, fans have been banking on Endgame being the film where Dr. Strange's one winning outcome actually comes to fruition. And it did (of course). When Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange finally arrives back on the scene from his untimely dusting, he raises one finger to Stark, seeming to indicate that this is the only possible way for Earth (and half the universe) to prevail. But, of course, this would cost Tony Stark everything, as he snaps his fingers and ends his own life in the process. Destiny arrives.

Steve Rogers goes on to live his dream life with Peggy

This is the most exciting of the bunch, because it's one of the most out-there theories that actually came true. Once time travel became heavily hinted for the new film, fans believed that Captain America may choose to stay in the past, and finally have that fabled dance with his old flame, Peggy Carter. It actually came true! In the finale of the film, Steve says he is going to shoot back in time to return all the Infinity Stones, but he never comes back–kind of. The gang turns to find Captain America, as an old man, sitting on a bench, wistfully. He's lived his life the way he always wanted, by staying back in the '40s and reuniting with Peggy. How quaint. No word on what happened to the frozen version of himself in that timeline...

Avengers: Endgame: In its opening day, the newest MCU film shatters box office records. - Slate

Black Widow takes aim at another box office record.

Marvel

A lot of people all over the world decided to watch Avengers: Endgame on Friday, and they paid a lot of money for the privilege, Variety reports. In fact, in many countries, they paid more money than any person or group of people has ever paid to watch a single movie in a single day. Tony Stark and company earned $156.7 million dollars domestically on Friday, which shatters the previous record for a Friday opening of $119 million, held by Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Avengers: Endgame also broke the record for Thursday previews, taking in $60 million to The Force Awakens’ $57 million.

Internationally, the movie was also no slouch: In China, it earned $107.2 million on its Wednesday debut, the country’s largest single-day box office haul. It also broke the single-day box office records in Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Egypt, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad, the U.K., and Uruguay. What’s more, it set top opening day records in Indonesia, Malaysia, Netherlands, Greece, Portugal, Slovakia, Turkey, and the Ukraine. That’s 28 of the 193 member states in the United Nations, or just under 15%, the greatest international consensus anyone has achieved since we agreed we weren’t going to do anything about climate change.

Domestic weekend estimates for the film range from $310 million to $345 million, which will easily break Avengers: Infinity War’s current record of $257.7 million. It had already broken the international record by Friday, pulling in about $487 million so far. The Fate of the Furious only managed a paltry $443 million. Finally, Avengers: Infinity War is playing on more North American theater screens than any film in history, with 4,662 separate screens showing Avengers: Infinity War.

Those are impressive numbers, but consider this: The maximum potential domestic box office—all 327.2 million people in the United States and another 37.06 million Canadians paying an average price of $9.11 to see the same movie on the same weekend—is just over $3 billion, even if no superfans see the movie twice. That means that for all the shattered records, the latest chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will only make it 11.5 percent of the way to complete cultural hegemony. We have got to do better next time!

Trump: Jussie Smollett Case a ‘Disgrace to Our Nation’ - Variety

During a campaign rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Saturday night, Donald Trump called Jussie Smollett a “third-rate actor” whose highly-publicized case was a “disgrace to our Nation.”

“It’s MAGA country,” he told the crowd. “I didn’t hear that term until that third rate actor in Chicago went out and said I was beaten up by MAGA country, can you believe it?”

“Turned out to be a total lie,” he added.

Trump spoke as the White House Correspondents’ Dinner took place in Washington, D.C., an event he has skipped the past two years.

Smollett had been indicted on 16 charges in February for falsely claiming he had been the victim of a racial and homophobic attack, in which he alleged the attackers yelled “This is MAGA country.”

Chicago’s State Attorney controversially dropped all charges against the actor to the surprise of the city’s police officials and mayor, Rahm Emanuel, who called it an “abomination of justice.”

On Wednesday, Smollett’s “Empire” co-stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson signed a letter defending the embattled actor, along with other key cast members: “He is innocent…he is honest,” they wrote. Read the full letter here.
